In store we have a range of Tamron Lenses on display.A full range of Tamron Lenses are available to order. Below are two of our most popular lenses

TAMRON 18-270mm F/3,5 -6,3 Di II VC PZD

Tamron introduces a new mega travel zoom with a focal range of 18-270mm. The lens features a newly developed piezo ultrasonic motor, which ensures a silent, precise and extraordinary fast autofocus. Furthermore the unique (VC) vibration technology was improved to allow for a more compact design. The lens convinces with its high level of usability, featuring a focal length range which covers just about every photographic situation. Its compactness and light-weight construction make it the ideal travel companion. The lens not only covers everything from wide-angle for landscape to tele for close-up photography, but also offers light-macro capability at a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3,8 throughout the focal length range, to magnify the small things in life.

1 The Sony mount is not equipped with the VC image stabilization mechanism, as the body of Sony’s digital SLR cameras has a built-in image stabilization function. Consequently, the lens with a Sony mount is referred to as the 18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II PZD and does not include the VC description.

Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD MACRO 1:2

Compact top tele-zoom lens with macro 1:2 function. A high mechanical quality combined with excellent optical qualities are the characteristic features of this telephoto lens. This Di lens can be used on a digital APS-C sized or full frame camera. This lens ideally complements standard kit lenses.

A 'Macro Switchover' mechanism allows a minimum focus distance of 0.95m within the focal length range of 180-300mm. You can fill the entire frame with subjects of apx. 5 x 7cm size, at a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2, ideal for capturing images of flowers, insects and objects of similar size. With its 300mm tele-end the lens guarantees ultimate photo fun.

The designation “Di” (Digitally Integrated Design) marks a generation of lenses, which have been specially adapted to the higher requirements of digital SLR cameras (APS-C and full frame).

Please note: The 70-300mm is available with a built-in motor for the Nikon D40, D40X and D60 (Model A17NII) from apx. February 2008. The A17N model which had been available up until February 2008 is only compatible with the D40/D40X/D60 in the MF mode due to the fact it doesn´t have a built-in motor.
